Today I'm thankful that the experimental dessert and entree (both were phase 2 south beach recipes) we took to our potluck last night were great successes.

People were hesitant about the dessert because it looked kinda funny, but no one didn't get a second helping. And because it was sugar free, no one had problems eating it late at night. And I get the leftovers for lunch today.

As Eric was pre-flighting their plane they noticed several small things wrong with it. They decided they were all minor enough that they could still fly. Then they couldn't get the left engine started, and you can't fly without an engine. So they decided to "squawk" the plane and tow it over to maintenance. As they pulled it up to the maintenance hangar and handed the paperwork to the mechanic, the nose fell to the ground.

So today I'm thankful for God's awareness and looking out for His people
